Hi,
all ZSTAR(1), ZSTAR2 and ZSTAR3 sensor boards do always have accelerometer sensor, MCU and the wireless transceiver. The only difference is that:
ZSTAR has
MMA7260Q sensor, MC9S08QG8 MCU and MC1319x wireless chip
ZSTAR2 is almost identical, just different sensor used -
MMA7360Lthe latest development ZSTAR3 combined MCU + wireless MC1321x family chip
and the two options for the sensor:
- MMA7361L analog or
- MMA7456L digital accelerometer
So far, just one type of the USB stick (with HC908JW32) is used to connect any of these sensors.
RD3172MMA7456L_SW and accompanying firmware allow multiple sensors with one USB stick.
