Hello,
i need to rebuild some command electronic cards (builded in 2014) with two MCU type MC9S08DZ60 AMLH (8bit).
These MCU's are not easy to found and buy now and will require many mounth to be delivered from NXP.
The MCU S9S08DZ60 F2MLH (8 bit) are equivalent or is it better not to use them for the project??
The functions used are simple, and the Can Bus port is used to connect to other units (to send inputs status and to receive led outputs status).
Has anyone had a chance to use them and can provide advice?
Thanks for the information,
Regards,
Marco
the MC9S08DZ is the commercial version of the S9S08DZ
Both parts have the same features you only need to check the errata for the two differents mask set, you can check the errata on the next link

Hi Vincente,
Ok, for the new:
S9S08DZ60F2MLH | 2M74K |
but the type:
MC9S08DZ60 AMLH
which mask have?
Thank you for reply.
Regards,
Marco
normally the MC9S08DZ60AMLH is 2M74K, but you can check it on the body mark of the device on the second line
Hi Vincente,
but that means MC9S08DZ60 AMLH and S9S08DZ60 F2MLH,
with the same mask 2M74K are equivalents.
So we can buy the S9S08DZ60 F2MLH to replace the MC9S08DZ60 AMLH!
This is true or I have not understood?
Thank you for reply,
Regards,
Marco
yes both has normally the same mask set
