Hi all
I'm designing a system with i.MX6 processor and planning to output YCbCr 8bit data from IPUx_DISP0_DATAxx.
Are there any rules to use it?
Can I use any bit in DISP0[23:0]?
If so, Please let me know how to set the output bit.
Please clarify,
Sincerely

Please refer to Table 68 (Video Signal Cross-Reference) of the i.MX6 Datasheet (IMX6DQCEC,
Rev. 3, 02/2014) regarding the mapping of the Display Interface Pins used during various
supported video interface formats. You may apply to Linux tests, described in section
“IPU Device Unit test” of Linux Reference Manual. Also, I hope general considerations in the
next Community thread helps :

Hi Yuri
The table means that I can use only DISP0[7:0] doesn't you?
Or I can use other bit as a data output? (ex, DISP0[15:8])
Which one is correct?
Best Regards,
ko-hey
Yes, DISP0[7:0] should be used.
