The linker is giving me an error about code size "L4025: This limited version allows only 16384 bytes of code" but the web site says the code limit is 32k:

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=CW-SUITE-SPECIAL

I have both v5.1 and v6.3 installed on my computer and they both give the same error message.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Rename or remove the license.dat file in earlier install subdirectories and restart CW to load the proper license.

(I renamed all the license.dat files on the computer and started CW. I got an error that listed the environment variable CW uses to look for license.dat. The LicensePath includes all previous installs, listed in order. When CW starts, it looks through the installs in order so CW v6.3 was loading with a license from v5.0 which is why I couldn't build code bigger than 16k)

It sounds like the default license is broken, somehow. Please work with the licensing people to correct this. Click here to submit a service request to them. Choose Technical Request for the category and License Issues for the topic.
