Hi,

I am using CodeWarrior V6.2 (see below for exact version). On searching the website for a user guide, I found this one. I have been following it, and as far as I can see, it is a little old document. I mean there are a lot of things in there which don't apply to CodeWarrior V6.2. Is there an updated version of this document for V6.2?

Target: MCF51QE128

Programming Language: C/C++

CodeWarrior version: CodeWarrior Development Studio for Microcontrollers V6.2 Releas, build 8127.

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional

Ok. I got some updated documents inside CodeWarrior Help menu (at least the month and year says so). Is there any way I can obtain a pdf copy of this so that I can read it at a computer where CodeWarrior isn't installed?

Hello Ameet,

There should already be the relevant help files, in PDF format, within the CW installation, possibly located at ..\Help\Pdf.

Regards,

Mac

Hi Mac,

Thanks for pointing that out. Didn't know there was a PDF folder also. Got my required document at {CODEWARRIOR_FOLDER}\Help\PDF\8_16bit_IDE_Users_Guide.pdf. Anyway, shouldn't Freescale consider putting up these updated documents on the website also? In other words, I don't see a reason why Freescale would not want to provide updated documents on its website also (apart from the bundle with the IDE).

Or is it that I am searching incorrectly for the proper documents. For this IDE document, I had done the following:

1. On this page I clicked on the Documentation tab.

2. After this I selected User Guides under Refine your results.

3. The only thing which I am shown is CW816BITIDEUG which is Rev# 6.1 and last modified on 8/28/2007.
