CAN bus connection for 4-different-GND boards

I have a new project. I want to using S12ZVCA on each board. These board have different GND. May I using CANPHY on this project?

Hi Aaron,

I’m afraid this will not work, the CANH/CANL needs a common ground between the nodes.

You can use a galvanically isolated CAN transceiver, such as TJA1052i.
