Hello,

I'm playing with Config Tools right now and I'm trying to generate a simple periodic interrupt. What is the best and easiest way to do it with Peripheral Tool?

PIT would be the best choice but it is not in the list.

Regards,

Marco Coelho

Hello Aurelio,

Below is the reply from SDK team:

"

Unfortunatelly, the version 4 of the MCUXpresso Config Tools, contains only sub-set of the peripherals and it's being incrementally added.
I'm assigning to our marketing to consider adding PIT to next release of the data.

Hope it helps

Alice

 Hello Marco Coelho,

Yes, it really missing the PIT module , I  will report it to MCUXpresso config tool development team.

Which chip do you used ? Does it have FTM module ?

If yes, you  config it to periodic interrupt. Also in SDK package , there is FTM demo as a simple timer :

SDK_2.3.0_FRDM-K64F\boards\frdmk64f\driver_examples\ftm\timer

Hope it helps

Hi Alice Yang,

I'm using MK64FN1M0VLL12 on FRDM-K64F kit.

Well, considering what we have got so far, I think that initializing PIT manually is the best option.

Thank you!
