Hi,
I am jyothi. I have installed U-boot 1.1.6 in MPC8323 development board. Ethernet is not pinging to my windows system. Can you help me out for anything i missed configuration of environment variables. I am attaching the environment variables which i have configured.
Original Attachment has been moved to: u-boot.txt.zip
Ok, thank you for clarification. MPC8323EVRAFDC is processor partnumber, but not board name. Please specify board name.
Also, how exactly you are doing this test? Could you please describe your test procedure as precise as possible, so just to reproduce it here in lab?
K.Board name is MPC8323E-RDB. I have connected ethernet port of this board
to my windows 7 PC directly. I tried to ping from PC to board ip address
but Its not pinging to my PC. And also i tried to ping from my board with
same ip address then also it is not working . Once again I am attaching
Configuration of environment variables. Can you tell me any other problem
is there?

1. Connecting "directly" may not work - for direct board to PC connection without using ethernet switch you need specific "crossover" ethernet patch cord. If you do not have this patch cord than please try connecting through ethernet switch.
2. Ping from PC to U-boot in not supported by U-boot, the only ping from U-boot to PC is supported.
3. Please make sure you have disabled windows firewall or enabled ping rule in firewall.
4. Please do not forget to check "link" led for connection status before pinging.
I do not see anything incorrect in your attached file. In case if you are using our board and our BSP, than you do not need to make any changes in U-boot settings, standard prebuilt image should work.
Could you please answer the following questions:
1. Which board you are using?
2. Which Linux BSP you are using?
I am using MPC8323EVRAFDC development board. And I am using freescale
MPC8323E BSP Version: 1.0-rt (7-2-1-rt) featuring Linux 2.6.20.6-rt8.
