Hello my fellow LPC users,

A bit of a heretic question for you: has anyone tried to use LPCLink2 debuggers (either stand-alone or embedded in some LPCXpresso v2+ eval. board) with 3rd party targets?
Not bailing out on LPC, but we just got an STM-based design from an external collaborator with 2x5 swd pin headers and the only debuggers around with such footprints are the LPC ones.

Thanks in advance.

thanks for the prompt answer vtw.433e,

I was just afraid that either of the manufacturers would have put in place some kind of restriction.

Have a nice weekend!

Load it with CMSIS-DAP firmware and it will work with any ARM target - from a debugger all ARM targets look pretty much the same.

BTW: You can buy an adapter to convert the traditional JTAG connector to the small SWD-style connector, so you can use your other adapters too. I know the Embedded Artists do one, but lots of other do too.
