We created a DEMO SD card using an
board (MCIMX6Q-SDB) we bought about 4-5 months back, and Mfgtools-Rel-
4.1.0_130816_MX6Q_UPDATER. But the SD card could not even
start on the new cards we bought this week (the first one does not work,
so we requested a second one)
For the two new cards, booting procedure fails with message like below: " MMC read: dev # 3, block # 2048, count 8192 ... 8192 blocks read: OK Wrong Image Format for bootm command ERROR: cant get kernel image! "
We can even create a new SD Card using the new boards, but it
does not run on the new boards. However, it runs on the old board.
All 3 (one old and two new) MCIMX6Q-SDB cards have the same
labels like " (SCH-27516 REV C4, 700-27516 REV B)" .
Hi Xinhui
could you try latest mfg tools and demo files
L3.14.28_1.0.0_LINUX_DOCS (REV L3.14.28_1.0.0) |
IMX6_L3.14.28_MFG_TOOL (REV L3.14.28_1.0.0)
pay attention to vbs scripts in mfg tools folder.
Regarding Mfgtools-Rel-4.1.0_130816_MX6Q_UPDATER, one can try to flash images
to eMMC Profile Name:SabreSD-eMMC, refer to attached Linux guide sect.4.4 How to Boot From eMMC4.4,
sect.7.2.2 eMMC4.4 on SDHC4.
One can check processor revisions on boards: revision 1.3 (“D”) devices now shipping.
New part number not software backwards compatible if using HAB or plug-in mode.
In general FSL has return service :Returns and Warranty Information|Freescale
