Hi,
I am considering MC13224V for my zigbee application. Freescale's development kit is not in my budget. Is there any other cheaper board which I can buy off the shelf and use to prototype my application?
Thanks
Kiran G
Hello Kiran,
Please notice the MC1322x is now EOL and it is not recommended for new designs at all. Instead, you should check for the new KW2x devices featuring a cortex M4 MCU plus an 802.15.4 radio in-package. For further information please visit www.freescale.con/kw2x. You will also find the different development boards available.
If you would rather build your own board or prototype, you could always download the reference designs form our website. The TWR and USB reference designs have been tested to work and could be downloaded from:

In addition to those reference designs, there is a low cost reference design also available in our communities. It features a board you may build for around 10 dollars excluding the MCU. You may download the files and adapt it to your application if desired.
