Does the Vybrid SVF5xxxR really have FIFTY CAN ports?

The following Product Selector says it does.

http://cache.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/roadmap/BRAUTOPRDCTMAP.pdf

I can't find any other mention of this part on this web site except for in the following and one other document. Does it exist?

Tom

Good catch Tom.

You'll find more information at VFxxx Controller Solutions based ARM|Vybrid|Freescale

Only dual CAN3 controller though.

Best regards,

Richard

OK, I guess that had to be a typo.

I was trying to help someone who needed 10 CAN ports, I suggested some of the MCP parts that have more then 2, but he wanted to run Linux as well.

Is the "S" in SVF5xxxR also a typo?

Tom,

The S means “Automotive Qualified”. The numbering scheme is explained in the data sheet.

Best regards,
