Hi,

Customer found recently that the RESET# pin from MK24 can have output when the chip is being reset by internal watchdog.

Can this output be disabled? Please help advise, thanks.

Best regards,

Ryan

Hello Yuan Li:

Unfortunately in Kinetis K parts such as K24 it is not possible to isolate the reset pin from the internal reset caused by the watchdog.

For Kinetis L MCUs, there is a bit in the flash configuration space that allows disabling the Reset_b pin (search for FTFA_FOPT[RESET_PIN_CFG])
