Hi community,
I have a question about i.MX6 board.
Please see chapter 3.2 in Hardware development guide (IMX6DQ6SDLHDG Rev.1).
It mentions about board material as below.
FSL reference design equals Isola 370HR.
FSL validation boards equals Isola FR408.
The, which material is Freescale recommendation for a custom board?
(e.g. Isola 370HR is Freescale recommendation if simulated with IBIS file)
Best Regards,
Satoshi Shimoda
Solved! Go to Solution.
Well, reference boards are usually made with 370HR since it is closer to customer's cost goals.
FR408 allows better signal performance (better for validation boards), though it is costly.
It pretty much depends on the customer.
Best regards,
Sergio
