Hello!
Have custom iMX535 board, do new revision of PCB and don't understand how must be CSI0 bus connection?
MSB is CSI0_DAT19 or CSI0_DAT12?
Also, TVE can generate composite video output signal, but what processor pin be use for this TCDAV_COMP?
Thanks
yes. but make sure that when acting in 8bit mode, P15~P8 would be used.
please refer to the sentences in RM:
"Each value can be 8-16 bit wide according to configuration of DATA_WIDTH. If DATA_WIDTH is configured to N, then 20-N LSB bits are ignored"
back to the on-the-fly processing, it's another way to process the image.
on-the-fly processing means TVADC->CSI->IC/VDI->...
direct path to memory means TVADC->CSI->SMFC->MEMORY->...
Taking in account that i use 64-Lead LQFP version, best connection would be:
P0 -> CSI_DAT4
....
P15 -> CSI_DAT19
This scheme allows to switch between 16 bit and 8 bit modes by soft configuration of IPU and ADV7180 .
Am I right?
the connection is correct.
on-the-fly processing means the data is not put into memory but directly to post processing or rendering module. We are using the different version of RM I cannot find the table 45-2 you mentioned. it's better you can post an image for the table.
Another question about CSI:
For instance I connect ADV7180 to CSI0, and data bus goes like:
P0 -> CSI_DAT12
....
P7 -> CSI_DAT19
Is that correct?
Another question: what does it mean "On-the-fly processing" (Table 45-2 in Reference manual)
Does "No" means, that image projection will not ne avaiable without writing data on RAM?
For CSI the MSB is CSI0_DAT19. TVDAC_COMP is connected to GND with a 0.1uF capacitor
