Hi
I'm ordering the RT1160 eval kit and the suggested LCD display RK055HDMIPI4MA0. Best I can tell from the docs a 40 pin MIPI cable will be needed to connect the kit and the display. Is the cable included with the kit or display or do I need to get that separately.
Thanks

Hi,
According to MIMXRT1160-EVK Board User Manual, from here https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/3576931.pdf :
"If developers want to use LCD, NXP provides an optional LCD module RK055HDMIPI4M equipped with a 5.5” 720*1280 TFT LCD display with touch sensitive overlay. This module contains one FPC cable that connects to RT1160 EVK. The LCD interface can be connected to J48. LCD modules can be purchased from the NXP website."
That looks like a nice EVK and display, I think I'll order them as well to add to my collection!
totally missed it but I see it now, that'll help for next time. thank you
that's a big help thank you.
I cant find the data sheet you reference on the nxp dev kit landing page but if I search for it now that I have the doc id UM11617 I can find it.

You're welcome, click on "SHOW ALL" in the documents section on the landing page https://www.nxp.com/design/development-boards/i-mx-evaluation-and-development-boards/i-mx-rt1160-eva... and it should be there.
