I am new to the iMXRT series.

Please let me know how to start and how to develop a simple Embedded Linux Application.

I don't know how to start and how to run Embedded Linux applications on the iMXRT1050 EVK board.

Hello venkat_1,

if you like to use Linux, I would recommend to take a look at Cortex-A based controllers like the ones in the iMX8 Series.

iMXRT is designed to run BareMetal or a RTOS System. There are some hacks to run Linux on Controllers without a MMU like this one, but this is by far not optimal and also not supported by NXP.
