LQFP100 RT1021 Ethernet interface

Hi,

I am using 100-pin MIMXRT1021CAF4A and want to interface Ethernet PHY chip.

I see that ENET_MDIO & ENET_MDC pins are shared with JTAG pins.

In 144-pin package these pins are dedicated.

Evaluation kit schematic uses 144-pin package.

I just want to confirm that I have to share these two pins with JTAG ?

Hi Suhas,

Yes, you have to share the pin. If you don't want share, you can use SWD debug instead of JTAG. GPIO_AD_B0_04 and GPIO_AD_B0_05 is not used by SWD.
