Hi all,

 

I am working on LPUART EDMA Transfer example and I couldn’t find how system use RAM in code example. I have following questions.

 

Q1:Could you please help me how can I reach details?

Q2:Does DMA able to write RAM area ? And which spesific part of it ? 

Q3:When DMA starts their head position again after he reached the border of memory area that it’s able to write? For example ram area start the address from 2020_0000 and ends with 2023_FFFF (OCRAM), so what is the interval eDMA can be use ?

Q4: What happens if eDMA inflate the OCRAM?

Hello Lukas_Frank,

The eDMA examples do not cover all possible scenarios, my apologies for that. The eDMA module does allow to store in RAM.

Would you please elaborate more in what you mean by the eDMA inflating the OCRAM?
