I have a NXP i.MX 8MQuad Evaluation Kit (imx8mq-evk) and I want to add some real time features (rt kenerl), I was reading the Real-time Edge Yocto Project User Guide, but I noticed imx8mq-evk is not supported, I just want to know what options I have , or if I can just modify the Real-time Edge kernel and u-boot and try to add the imx8mq. Any solution will be more than welcome. thanks in advance.
