Hello
I work with imx7d.
I use mfgtool to update my board. I use the L4.9.11_1.0.0 mfgtool. I tested the timing of the ddr. It is OK.
But I have an error whan the u boot mfgtool verify the fsl-image-mfgtool-initramfs-imx_mfgtools.cpio.gz.u-boot. The error is "Verifying Checksum ...Bad Data CRC".
The size of fsl-image-mfgtool-initramfs-imx_mfgtools.cpio.gz.u-boot is bigger than 8Moctet.
If I use a old fsl-image-mfgtool-initramfs-imx_mfgtools.cpio.gz.u-boot with a size smaller than 8Moctet it is ok.
I saw that only 8Moctet was loaded if the size was bigger than 8Moctet
I don't understand.
Can you help me please.
Best regards.
François
Hi François
one can try to decrease size of fsl-image-mfgtool-initramfs-imx_mfgtools.cpio.gz.u-boot
rebuilding it (remove unused drivers from image) using sect. 6.2 Manufacturing Tool Yocto Guide
included in Documentation
Best regards

Hi
Yes I decreased the size of fsl-image-mfgtool-initramfs-imx_mfgtools.cpio.gz.u-boot. I remove the package mtd. And there is not mode error crc.
But I would have liked to know why I am limited to a size of 8M.
Best Regards
François
