imx6 uvc g_webcam.ko

current we developed on imx6d,the version of linux is 3.14.52,we configed the kernel and add uvc function into the os image. we add some modules into kernel  when the kernel is running.

insmod  ./videobuf2-vmalloc.ko

insmod ./configfs.ko

insmod ./ libcomposite.ko

insmod ./g_webcam.ko

the ubuntn is running on a pc,a usb cable connected the ubuntn and imx6 board.

inside the imx6 board,the /dev/video0 can be created ,but inside ubuntn, the /dev/video0 is not created. but when the usb cabel connected the ubuntn and a uvc camera(Ambarella Gopro). the /dev/video0 can be created in ubuntn.

in ubuntn，we run the lsusb -d 1d6b:0102 -v .

HI,

g_webcam driver cannot run alone on the device. In order to make it enumerate properly on your Ubuntu host, you need to run a userspace application within the i.MX6 to finish the enumeration process, otherwise, the host won't show up the device.

Some libraries/applications you can use are:
