Hello everyone,
I'm having issues accessing and using i2c in linux.
What I am trying to do is set up a camera, the ov7725 using the ov772x driver in linux.
I'm using i2c-2 on the imx53 loco board (QSB board).
I'm also using CSI0.
Now to the problem, simply stated I can't see any i2c signals on i2c-2.
-I've changed my board file to include

Now the issues that I'm having with the camera are the .pwdn var in the struct mxc_camera_platform_data camera_data; also .platform_data = (void *)&camera_data,
but that's with the camera.
The i2c is set up such that
MX53_PAD_KEY_COL3__I2C2_SCL, MX53_PAD_KEY_ROW3__I2C2_SDA,
are in my pads function and
i2c_register_board_info(2, mxc_i2c2_board_info,ARRAY_SIZE(mxc_i2c2_board_info));
is in my init function
When I've made a new kernel file and I have loaded it into my microsd I've found errors loading the ov772x module, however if I use a program called i2c-tools I can't even see i2c signals generated from the board.
That being said, if I flip those ports to GPIO instead of i2c I see my signals changing (based off of echo 1 > /sys/class/gpio109/value)
So I know that those ports are still good ( I haven't damaged them.)
I've dumped my board info file to show the whole code I'm using to setup i2c-2 for use.
Could anyone verify that setting it up this way should work?
