i.MX8MM no response in android 9 after clicking the on/off key continuously

Hi,

    We encounter a problem which is shown below.

     1>test board:         8MMINILPD4-EVKB

     2>system version: imx8m mini Android P-2.3.0

     3>testing process: 

         <a>power on, open one app, such as calculator in system, it can work well.

         <b>config and close the "lock screen" function in system;

         <c>then, pressing on/off key about 3 times, and the calculator will not work, clicking the screen will not be processed.

         <d>enable the "lock screen" function, then <c> will not happen and calculator will work well.

     4>problem

         End customer need't "lock screen" function in fact, can you help to check and fix it ?

Hi @jimmyli 

1.Only the calculator will have no response, the system and other app are working well.

2.Tested other app, no such issue.

3.Customer can remove this calculator  from aosp build as it's just a demo apk. We won't fix this issue which is caused by this app and the AndroidP is old system. Please let customer use Android 10+.

4.When the issue of this apk happened, the system has waked up from suspend,  no any error log and we can back to screen or open other apk.This means the system has response.

1、All applications do, system Settings do. We're just using the calculator app to show you.Such as Settings-> Display->Auto-rotate screen in video2.mp4

2、It's not that clicking doesn't work, it's that the interface doesn't refresh. As long as it's a button, the other sliders don't.

3、It's not that we're not updating to Android10, but there are issues with feedback from existing customers that need to be addressed. Please look at this problem.

4、We used Demo board and official system test

Note: Android10 doesn't have this issue.

1>the problem doesn't happen on other platform, such as Rochchip, Qualcomm.

2>if close the "lock screen" function, any app will not refresh any more.

3>End customer is urgent to solve the problem.
