Hi community.

Our customer has tree question below.Would please advice.

Q1,

The absolute maximum rating of the output current of the GPIO?

Is to destroy and too much current through CMOS transistors?

Q2,

My understanding is correct ? The output current is limited by the VOH/VOL and the DSE.

The examples listed below.

Design examples)OVDD=3.3V and DSE:111 = 20 Ω than (Table36 of IMX6SDLAEC ), VOH=2.64V, VOL=0.66V design.

Ioh = (OVDD-VOH) / 20 Ω = (3.3-2.64) / 20 = 33 mA

IOL = Ω = 0.66 VOL 20 / 20 = 33 mA

Therefore, less than 33 mA output current in order to satisfy the VOH/VOL.

Q3,

For our specific use cases.

May be used currently in our system GPIO ports up to 1.3 mA (only one port. Others are used in less than 1 mA).

At this time, the VOH output of 3.3 V. But we would not be able to destroy ?.

Hi Takashi

1. absolute maximum rating of the output current of the GPIO

is not specified by datasheet, yes it is limited by allowable temperature,

which is defined.

2. if you have VOH=2.64V, VOL=0.66V in design, then I believe

this understanding is correct

3. GPIO ports up to 1.3 mA can be used. Regarding "At this time, the VOH output of 3.3 V"

seems datasheet has not such parameter. Please check Table 23. GPIO DC Parameters
