i.MX6S LVDS min frequency

Customer is using LVDS channel 1 only and connecting this LVDS directly to 10.1” display via LVDS, and, on another application, connecting it to 4.3” via an LVDS to RGB converter.  The 4.3” display is an RGB display and requires its DOTCLK frequency to be at 8.54MHz.

The question is, can the IMX LVDS controller frequency to be set as low as 8.54MHz?

Hello Darrell Block,

I’m afraid 8.54 MHz would not be achievable. This is a very rare LVDS frequency and the achievable frequencies for the Display Interface Clock start at 20Mhz but I haven’t seen any actual application below around 30Mhz.
