Hi communty
On a i.MX6D custom board, android (jb4.2.2_1.0.0) screen is very noisy after resume from sleep as attached file "After resume.png".
This noise was worse when touch the screen as "Touch after resume.png".
But when retried sleep -> resume again, the noise was resolved as "Retry resume.png".
Do you know how to resolve this issue?

Hi RodBorras,
Thank you for your reply.
Then, we understood the thread and patch is for optimizing a LVDS clock, isn't it?
Actually, our partner who made the custom board have confirmed the LVDS clock is no problem.
And HDMI display is no problem when the noise is NOT occurred on LVDS display, but nothing is displayed on HDMI when the noise is occurred on LVDS display if using LVDS + HDMI dual display.
Do you think this issue will be resolved the patch in LVDS panel display corruption? or is this different issue?

Satoshi Shimoda
Hi,
I have not encountered the interaction you describe between the HDMI and the LVDS, and have no suggestions at this time. Sorry.
That said, I encourage you to try the patch, regardless of your root cause.
If it does not work for you, please post your results here, and somebody might have follow-up ideas.
Thanks,
Rod.
Hi RobBorras,
Can you guess what is root cause by the following relationship LVDS and HDMI display?
> And HDMI display is no problem when the noise is NOT occurred on LVDS display, but nothing is displayed on HDMI when the noise is occurred on LVDS display if using LVDS + HDMI dual display.
For your information, this issue was not resolved even if slide the home menu.
And if tap the noisy screen, the noise was increased.
In addition, the following error was output to logcat when this issue was occurred.
E/GKI_LINUX( 2955): ##### ERROR : timer_thread: tick delayed > 5 slots (-1177206671,-50000000) -- cpu overload ? #####

I think it is not the IPU issue, it looks more like GPU hasn't draw display correctly. Maybe the customer can update the GPU and retry it:
Thank you for your advice.
Our partner is trying the patch in Android jb4.2.2 GPU upgade with the latest 4.6.9p13 (used in jb4.3).
Please wait a little about the result.

Hi RodBorras,
Unfortunately, the patch in LVDS panel display corruption did not resolve this noise issue.
Then, could you let me know what should we do in next step?
