does any one already tryed SATA kernel support on MX6 board with Linux O.S. ?
I'm using a Nitrogen6X, and also a custom sabre-lite with different kernel options.With both cards I have sata disk recognized and working, but after 2 minutes performance degrades rapidly.
I'm quite sure it is not a standby, or low power related problem (I've disabled it).
At start up performance are good:
root@linaro-ubuntu-desktop:~# hdparm -t /dev/sda
Timing buffered disk reads: 188 MB in 3.01 seconds = 62.51 MB/sec
root@linaro-ubuntu-desktop:~# uptime
..... up 1 min, ....
But after a while became worst:
root@linaro-ubuntu-desktop:~# hdparm -t /dev/sda
Timing buffered disk reads: 88 MB in 3.03 seconds = 29.00 MB/sec
root@linaro-ubuntu-desktop:~# uptime
..... up 3 min, ....
Can some one else repeat the same test ? It is not destructive.
