i.MX6 AUDMUX passthrough

Hello,

For an application I have to send signals coming from a microphone with an RF transceiver. For additional processing I want to connect I2S busses also to the i.MX6, for a reference on a solution that probably works see attached figure.

 

Now I wonder, does the i.MX allow for passthrough, from external to external port, and which does not cost CPU time? This would make the schematic considerably easier, as shown in the Preferred solution.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible?
