i.MX 8M Family DDR Tool Usage

i.MX8MSCALE DDR Tool User’s Guide mentions using a USB port for downloading a test
image to the i.MX series processor’s internal RAM through a USB connection for running the DDR stress test via host PC & a UART interface for debugging & logging.

Is it possible to perform Stress test from host PC over UART or JTAG interfaces if one does not have any spare USB interfaces to put on board for external USB connections on the customized board? 

What could be the solution to perform DDR stress test in such an application? Which interface can be used as alternative to USB interface for running DDR stress test?

How will this affect the RPA file?

Is it possible to flash eMMC/SD card with UART interface only, if we do not have a dedicated USB type C port as on EVK? external USB interface is must for it too?
