Guideline to address sneak current between any i.MX device and unpowered connected peripherals is as follows.
Option 1: While the i.MX device is powered on but connected devices are off, program iMX6 I/O as outputs at a low level.
Option 2: While the i.MX device is powered on but connected devices are off, program iMX6 I/O as inputs with pull-down enabled.
