how to connect cdm-m10 CD / DVD(phillips) to imx53

I am trying to connect the cdm-m10 CD / DVD (phillips) to imx53 board.

i plan to use the i2c interface Does freescale provide the driver as part of source code.I have heard about the mar package which might support this drive.Kindly advise.

Recently, I will work on the driver on DVD of imx53 board, so , have you find the source code, or do you know how to do it?
