Hi All,
I have a,
cpu part no - MCIMX6QAICPU2
name MX6 Quad CPU2 Card, board with LVDS display.
For this i downloaded these tools
programmer L4.9.88_2.0.0-ga_mfg-tools.tar.gz
and also android_O8.0.0_1.0.0_tools.tar.gz
1. I see a lot of files missing between L4.9.88 and android_O8.0. Why is that? There is no vbs files inside L4.9.88. What is the use of this?
2. I am using mfg tools inside android_O8 directory and i am able to flash sd card using this vbs,
mfgtool2-android-mx6q-sabreauto-sdcard.vbs
3. I don't see any emmc related vbs file for saberauto. Only for sabersd i can see it. Does saberauto not support emmc boot?
4. Can i change
mfgtool2-android-mx6q-sabreauto-sdcard.vbs to
mfgtool2-android-mx6q-sabreauto-emmc.vbs by changing its contents and making board=saberauto emmc=3? Is it right way to do?

Hi mrigendra
seems absence of emmc related vbs file for saberauto is caused by erratum described on
Request some information about known issue "ENGR00236878".
and in attached Release Notes Table 18. Known issues and workarounds for i.MX 6Dual/6Quad SABRE-AI.
In general all sabreauto scripts can be written using examples for sabresd scripts, as for
mfgtool2-android-mx6q-sabreauto-sdcard.vbs - it can not be used for emmc as emmc has specific
partition structure and related commands.
Best regards
igor
