Dear all,
Please tell me about the output pins of i.MX7D.
Now we have a question about the PMIC_ON_REQ pin type, because the documentation provided by NXP does not clearly explain it.
In addition, I found two different posts in this community.
PMIC_ON_REQ design on i.MX7 SABRE
One says it's a push-pull type and the other says it's an OpenDrain type.
Which is correct?
@george
Hello,
Hardware Development Guide for i.MX7 states, that PMIC_ON_REQ is push-pull output.
The datasheet does not show that any internal pulling resistors are present for this pin,
and there are no statement about external resistor need for the PMIC_ON_REQ.
Regards,
Yuri.
Dear @Yuri,
Sorry, I noticed that the URL link above was incorrect
Please try to see this link again.
PMIC_ON_REQ design on i.MX7 SABRE
About PMIC_ON_REQ <== I updated this link.
Furthermore, I am now trying to check the PIN type using the i.MX 7D-SABRE board.
After removing the R280, the voltage level of the PMIC_ON_REQ looks slightly unstable, It's like a weak pull-up.

@george
Hello,
PMIC_ON_REQ is active driven output, without internal pull resistors,
as shown on the figures of

Yuri.
Dear @Yuri ,
My apologies for asking so much of you.
Did you check the URL link I updated?
We want to clear this contradiction for the future.
We will wait for updates from you.
