I used different method to reboot NXP demo board, and get the  register value .

But the value always POR.

Why the reset type are most BAD_RESET ?

Why only "WARM BOOT" is "GOOD_RESET" in imx6 ?
The others are "BAD_RESET", include "POR", "CSU", "IPP USER", "WDOG", "JTAG HIGH-Z", "JTAG SW"...

And why we always get "POR" reset reason ?

Hello,

"i.MX validation boards and NXP sponsored third-party boards have all been designed to remove power

(Voltage source) to all components on the board in the event of a processor reset. This avoids having to

determine if a component critical to rebooting the processor is in the necessary state to support a reboot."

Have a great day,
Yuri
