Where should a patch for imx6 be submitted to for both u-boot and linux kernel?

Hi,

I have a patch for imx6 but wonder where should it be submitted to both u-boot and linux kernel. Should imx6 patch be submitted to specific u-boot tree for imx6 or directly to u-boot main tree?

Please advise!
