Hello,
Is it possible to know when DVI driving ITU-BT656 will be available for IMX8M BSP ?
As far as i know it's not yet developped :
mxsfb.c\fbdev\video\drivers - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
My goal is to display using CCIR656. Maybe there is an other possibility ?
(I try using hardware like ad7610 but it doesn't work)
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Best regards
Fred
Hi Fred
nxp provides drivers only for lcd boards provided with i.MX8M reference board, for example
described on below link
Quick Start Guide for MX8-DSI-OLED1 for i.MX 8M Evaluation Kit
Quick Start Guide for IMX-MIPI-HDMI for i.MX 8M Evaluation Kit
Linux Release Notes document lists all supported panels
https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=L4.9.88_2.0.0_LINUX_DOCS
Other pannels may be supported for customers with Professional Services
NXP Professional Services|NXP

Hi Igor,
I don't want to use flat panel !
My only way to use IMX8M now is using CCIR656 output.
As DVI is explained in datasheet, i believed that is was developped. But reading sourcecode, i see that its wasn't.
Have you got a roadmap for that ??? (IMX6 support CCIR656 in the past).
Hi Fred
not all features which are described in datasheet are supported
in software. Supported features in software can be found in linux documentation on
nxp official software page link
