Here i am facing issue with unable to open connection to supplicant on /data/system/wpa_supplicant/wlan0.Actually there is no wlan0 file in this /data/system/wpa_supplicant/ directory.

How it ( "wlan0" ) will create in /data/syatem/wpa_supplicant/ directory ? For this problem i have changed all possible permissions in init.rc file.
By default wlan0 will create or we have to create ?..if we have create means,.please tell me the steps to do???

i have enabled CONFIG_DRIVER_BSD=y in all files(defconfig,android.config,wpa_cli.c,...etc).Eventhough i am getting Unsupported driver error.
Last two weeks i am facing this problem.please anyone give solution for this issue.

wlan0 is created by your wifi driver. you don't need to modify it.

when you configuring linux kernel by typing " make menuconfig ", I think you should have selected "nl80211" , the issue should be generated by "Unable to open connection to supplicant on "/data/system/wpa_supplicant/wlan0": ".
In addition, the directory "/data/system/wpa_supplicant/wlan0" is given in wifi.c file and Boardconfig.mk file, check them , please!

Thanks Weidong. We cleared that error instead of passing '/data/system/wpa_supplicant/wlan0',we just gave wlan0. Now we were able to see in GUI ( Searching for Wi-Fi networks...) and Wifi enabled.
