I'm debugging my board based on the MX53 processor. I'm in troublke with the uart, in my design I need to use a full (8 signals) UART, so I must use the UART1.
My device is a DTE device, when I write a one in the at DCEDTE bit in the UCFR register, I see the RX pin becoming an output and the TXD pin becoming an input.
This is strange because in the reference manual is written the RXD remain input regardless of whether the UART is in DTE or DCE mode, the same is for the TXD.
Anyone had experience with the UART on MX53?
