To select i.MX6 DI counter for active window HCOUNT and VCOUNT.

Hi community,

I have a question about i.MX6 IPU DI counter.

I consider what counter should I use for AW_HCOUNT and AW_VOUNT set by DIx_AW_xCOUNT_SEL field in IPU_DIx_AWx register.

Is there any restriction for couter selecting?

(e.g. same counter should be used for AW_HCOUNT and AW_VCOUNT)

We don't actually use IPU_DIx_AWx currently. What's the use case for it? From RM, I think if the counter, for, e.q, AW_HCOUNT not greater than HSYNC, should be ok.
