Is there a linux build for the Nitrogen6x (or any other i.MX6 board) that includes Qt5 and includes GPU acceleration right now?

You can build Qt5 yourself on the top of linux BSP (min profile).

follow the instructions on

This will build hardware accelerated Qt5  for framebuffer.
