MX8-DSI-OLED1 on i.MX8MQ EVK

I'm working with the i.MX 8M QUAD EVK running the pre-built android image provided (P9.0.0_1.0.0_GA_DEMO_8MQ). I'm following the instructions in the Android Quick Start Guide (4.4.4 Booting with single display: MIPI panel). But the nothing gets displayed MIPI interface. I can see that it is still being displayed on the HDMI interface. Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

New to embedded android and the i.MX8M platform so any and all guidance is useful. Thanks!

Hi Bryan,

You could refer to the “Android User's Guide” document, where it is mentioned which Device Tree is required according with the desired feature (MIPI-to-HDMI output, MIPI-to-HDMI output and audio playback, MIPI panel output, etc).

You should also ensure you are connecting the MX8-DSI-OLED1 screen to the MIPI-DSI Connector.
