I know both of these chips are obsolete, however, we currently have stock are they need to be used up. I have noticed something odd between these chips and i am writing to check if anyone knows how this behaviour happens, or has happened to them. I have a dev board with the MC13226 chip set on it, and i have installed a MC13224 binary to this '26 IC. I am able to kite up a wireless meshed network with other MC13224 and the connection appears stable and works fine.
Does anyone have any information on this behaviour, is this as expected? Will there be any issues with this setup long term? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
