Low Power Modes Wakening Time Information for i.MX 8M Plus Dual and i.MX 8QuadMax

Hi,

We are wondering wake up times of i.MX 8M Plus Dual and i.MX 8QuadMax in low power operation (Deep sleep mode to Active, Stop Mode to Active etc.). When we were looking to i.MX6 series, we saw these information at the datasheet but I couldn't see same information for the i.MX8 series at their documentation.

Could you provide these values with us?

Regards,

Dogancan

Hi Igor,

If you look at the 536.page of the linked document, you can see the wakening times are found on the documentation of imx6. Also, I can understand the note which is placed on the same page and these times can vary depends on the hardware. However, we don’t want to know exact values, we just want to know approximate values for this product like imx6 documentation.

Also, it is not logical for me to buy an MPU and measure its wakening times. We have strict wake-up time requirements in our project and I just want to select best MPU option. I don’t have to buy all MPUs around the World and measure their wakening times product by product. In my opinion, this is not the job of hardware engineers, it is about manufacturers. By the way, your competitors are providing this information to us.

Hi Dogancan

I asked internally, answer from team below

-----------------------

This kind of data cannot be found in i.MX6x datasheet also. Attached is a measuring procedure about the suspend resume time that we had ever done on i.MX6UL. Customers can do the measurement themselves by referring to the attachment.
