IMX8QM Dual Display (LCD and HDMI)

Dear All,

LCD and HDMI are working individually.

How to configure the dual display support in imx8qm - "imx-yocto-L4.14.78_1.0.0_ga" release.

1. LCD - 1080x1920 (MIPI-DSI1)

2. HDMI.

Dear Joan Xie,

We are checked “fsl-imx8qm-mek.dtsi” file for Dual display, in that Two LVDS/MIPI-DSI Displays are supported, each LVDS/MIPI-DSI is from different Display controller.

In our case both the displays (Native HDMI and MIPI-DSI-1) are from to single Display controller (DPU).
Please share the changes for Dual Display support using single Display controller (DPU).

I haven't imx8 board to test for you , but you can try to use fsl-imx8qm-mek.dtb, which should support dual display.
