Hello,

according to the following Processor support - KVM :

"Virtualization support for ARM was initially added to ARMv7-A
processors starting with Cortex-A15 and including Cortex-A7 ..."

Regards,

Yuri.

Hello,

NXP does not support hypervisor technology for i.MX series, but

customers can try using KVM feature of Linux kernel.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi,

I want to know whether Imx7 boots in secure or non-secure world once it comes out of reset.

Hello,

"After power on reset (POR), in Secure World, all interrupts are secure interrupts, all

bus masters are configured as Secure World masters, and all bus slaves can be

accessed by Secure World bus masters. [...]. If a trusted execution environment is not
required, there is no need to switch to Normal World."

Regards,

Yuri.

But to make best use of KVM CPU should boot in hypervisor mode. cortex a7 does support hypervisor mode. Is there any reference document which will boot cortex a7 CPU in hypervisor mode.
