I am trying to adjust the screen resolution with xrandr to support 1024x768-60 resolution
I follow the normal sequence of :
a. gtf
b. xrandr --newmode
c. xrandr --addmode
Step c above xrandr complains that the new mode is an invalid option.
The connect device correctly shows up as "DISP3 BG"
I have tried this with an HDMI monitor and a VGA monitor (using an HDMI to VGA dongle).
What is the correct method to change my screen resolution to support the application I will be using this board with?
If the display is well on your board, when the board boot up ,you need to use the cat command to confirm which display resolutions are support. If the 1024x768-60 is support, you can use the echo command to change the display resolutions of the screen.
