Hello Community,
I compiled the boot2qt image for SABRE sd device. I booted the board with the same image and I was able to see the qt-launcher demo.
But I don't want that qt-launcher demo, instead of that I want desktop as we get in yocto image. I want to run some binaries from terminal. But I am unable to figure out how to do that.
It just stuck after below logs:
[FAILED] Failed to start Hostname Service.

Hello Hrushi Nale,
What BSP are you using and for which board?
From what I understand the Boot to Qt is a software stack for embedded Linux so chances are the recipe for boot2qt is a minimal bootable image with the stack and does not include a GUI.
If you are using the BSP from Qt for Device Creation there may be an image that includes a GUI but you would need to review on the BSP documentation.
I hope this helps!
