How to change boot splash logo?

Hi,

How can I change the boot splash logo for my i.MX53 board? I read online about modifying the initlogo.rle file in the boot image file, but can't figure out the specifics.

Hello Goi!

Have you seen Quick note about changing the default Linux Tux logo -blog archive ? I tried it with an image of 1024x768 pixels and works perfectly!!!
