How to achieve VGA hot plug for i.mx6?

Our product is based on mx6D, and we use RGB interface transfer to VGA。

we need VGA hot plug function, do not power off mx6, when we plug VGA display, the system can read EDID and set to the suitable resolution according to the EDID.

is there any solution to accomplish this function？thanks！

Specification of VGA does not support hot plug possibility. Therefore there is no similar solution.

Look at HDMI possibility. HDMI supports hot plugging (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI).
